ABOUT ME

LATINRAMEN

An aspiring travel broadcast journalist and Spanish instructor who writes about all the fun Latin events and yummy food that Honolulu has to offer. I live for art, music & learning about people of all ethnicities and cultures.

I like to say that my mixed heritage does not necessarily dilute my strong ethnic upbringing and culture(s), but it somehow blends in and comes together when I write.

I'm an ethnic cocktail, thanks to my parents, and I intend on learning everything I can about people who have made their cultural mark on Hawaii - all while learning about my own mixed heritage.

I am currently working on my Master's degree in Spanish (I have a BA in Journalism & Spanish), learning how to speak & write Portuguese and designing t-shirts for the nerdy culture.
